Russia has developed a vaccine to prevent the spread of the Covid virus to animals.
Named Carnivac-Cove, the vaccine is the world’s first vaccine for animals.
Russia plans to mass-produce the vaccine starting this month.
Russia began clinical trials of the vaccine in October last year.
Related research has included fox species, including dogs, cats, and Arctic foxes.
It is reported that all the vaccinated animals developed antibodies against the Covid virus.
As a result, Russia has concluded that the vaccine is suitable for use in animals and that it produces strong immunity in animals. (Global Times)
